Step 1

Open the map editor in HMA.

If you want an image of the whole region (as shown in the GIF at the bottom of the page) go to any map in that region. If you just want an image of a particular town or route, navigate to that map.

Step 2

Click on the Edit Map Header button at the top of the screen.

Step 3

Click on Export Image

Step 4

For the whole region select All Connected Maps

For one particular map select This Map

Click any one of the following depending on what you want shown

Hide Events: Hides sprites, warps, tile scripts, fly spots, etc.

Show Objects: Shows sprites but not warps, tile scripts, fly spots, etc. Show All Events: Shows everything

Your image is now copied to your clipboard.

Step 5

Open your image editor of choice (paint.net is my preferred) Paste

You can also paste into Discord using this method!
