Encounter Slots Explained

Explaining encounter rates for all types of encounters since not all of them show the percentages like the grass table and explaining limitations to encounters.

These slots are fixed percentages and can not be changed
Rate is the percentage chance of encountering a Pokemon.
0% being you will never encounter a Pokemon
100% being you will always encounter a Pokemon (this would be very annoying in grass)
NOTE: Fishing encounter rate is hardcoded. For HUBOL, see Guide 5.21 to edit
The numbers preceding the Pokemon species are the minimum and maximum level that encounter can be found at.
Example: 2, 3, Rattata would mean Rattata can be found between levels 2 and 3
Grass
Slot 1-2 are 20%
Slot 3-6 are 10%
Slot 7-8 are 5%
Slot 9-10 are 4%
Slot 11-12 are 1%

Surf/Rock Smash
Slot 1 is 60%
Slot 2 is 30%
Slot 3 is 5%
Slot 4 is 4%
Slot 5 is 1%


Fishing
Old Rod:
Slot 1 is 70%
Slot 2 is 30%
Good Rod:
Slot 3 is 60%
Slot 4 is 20%
Slot 5 is 20%
Super Rod:
Slot 6 is 40%
Slot 7 is 30%
Slot 8 is 15%
Slot 9 is 10%
Slot 10 is 5%
